Delete your Compose On account

You can delete your account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Compose On and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Settings, then Delete account, and confirm.
3. If you signed in with Apple, confirm with Apple once more so we can disconnect Compose On from your Apple Account.

You can change your mind: sign in again within 14 days and tap Restore my account.

Can't open the app?

Email support@composeon.jsouce.com from the email address you signed up with (for Sign in with Apple, the address on your Apple Account, or tell us your username). We will confirm it is you and start the same 14-day deletion. We reply within 7 days and finish within 30.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (username, display name, bio), your sign-in, and your push notification registrations
• Your friends, friend requests and blocks
• Your comments and likes
• Your inbox

What stays

• Songs and parts you published remain in the song they belong to, because other people's parts build on them. They are no longer linked to you and show as "Deleted user". Under our Terms, the licence you granted to continue the song inside Compose On remains for that reason.
• Reports and moderation decisions, without your account details, kept for a limited period to document how we handle abuse and to meet legal obligations. See the Privacy Policy.

Want a copy first?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Export my data downloads everything we hold about you as a JSON file.
